Rachel Stewart

Rachel Stewart graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005 with a BS in dental hygiene.  She completed her MPH with dental emphasis from AT Stills University in 2019.  Rachel is a member of the American and NC Dental Hygienists’ Association, American Dental Education Association, American and NC Public Health Associations.  She is past Vice President of the North Carolina Dental Hygienists’ Association and currently serves at the NC dental hygiene liaison between ADHA and NC HeadStart. Rachel is a member of the advisory teams for the NC Oral Health Collaborative and NC Dental Society Council on Prevention and Oral Health.  She spent 14 years in private practice and for the last four years she has worked as a public health hygienist for the ECU School of Dental Medicine, managing school-based oral health prevention program.
